The Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential (IAHP) are pioneers in child brain development. They are recognised internationally for the work they do with brain injured children, assisting them to strive for intellectual, physical and social excellence.
Their work is a unique form of Environmental Enrichment (EE), which is based on holistic stimulation of the brain. It recognises all parts of the cerebrum are connected, and stimulation of one area of the brain stimulates other areas.
Current research shows that the combination of EE combined with EGCg was very effective to increase the growth of neurons and improve brain function in youths with Down Syndrome. The IAHP run programs for children with brain injuries, including but not limited to Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Developmental Delay and Traumatic Brain Injury.
